This blows so much. We were so close to getting a huge Heavyweight main event between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic and now we’re getting a Interim title fight between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich. The new main event is now Alex Pereira vs Jiri Prochazka.
After losing some big fights off of UFC 294 now UFC 295 losses it’s biggest fight. Probably would have been the biggest fight in UFC history and now we have to wait longer for it.
Jones is gonna be out for 8 months at least so we aren’t seeing him until probably July. Who knows where Miocic will be by then maybe he’s the Champ or maybe he isn’t even in the picture anymore so much can change in such little time.
I was really excited to see the heavyweight version of Jon Jones and this fight was gonna be electric. Hoping this card still ends up being great which it should be, but not the same as if we were getting Jones vs Miocic.
