Last night the Philadelphia Phillies blew a 4-0 lead in game 2 of the NLDS to the Atlanta Braves to even the series at one game a piece.
It wasn’t great if we’re being honest here as the Phillies really could have put a stranglehold on the series. Now, we head back to Philly with an even split.
Granted had you told us fans that a week ago we’d be coming back to the best ballpark in the world tied 1-1 we would’ve been fine with it. But, it’s more so the way they lost last night it just sucked a lot. The important thing is we stole game one and the Braves think they have this series won.
Now they want to try and piss off Bryce Harper?
Surely this won’t come back to haunt the Atlanta Braves in any way right? I mean they have this series in the bag all they have to do is win two straight games here in Philly they’ve done that before why would this time be any different?
Oh that’s right, it’s almost like we’ve seen this before. The Braves got lucky last night it was basically two bad pitches that cost the Phillies the game along with their own lack of hitting with RISP.
Arica and the Braves really want to poke fun at Bryce Harper in October now? Get ready for 8 hours of hell over the next two games Atlanta. As the saying goes you play with fire and you’re going to get burned.
Phillies fans are going to be out for blood and the atmosphere inside CBP is going to be even crazier than last year. Get me to tomorrow at 5:07 so we can kick the Braves asses.
