Hey pals, just your friendly neighborhood blogger checking in. My name is Eddie, I’ve dropped out of college twice and we’re gonna have some fun.
I know Branded is a Philly based site so I want to be up front with everyone, I’m a big Boston sports fan. Now even though I’m an obnoxious and loudmouth fan of the greatest sports city in the country world I think we can still get along, or we can’t I’m about to see my third parade in nine months so I won’t lose sleep about it.

I’ve been watching and playing sports since I can remember and I’ve always enjoyed writing, it just kind of brings me peace. Some people go to therapy or something else that is probably a healthy way to relieve stress but I just yell on the internet. Tomato, tamato. For that reason in 2017 my friend Darriald and I started a podcast appropriately named The Best Losers Podcast. I then took that name and made a website with it. Before this year I wasn’t very active on the site but after going on Barstool Idol last year and Portnoy telling me to get lost I decided I needed to figure out what to do with my life. So, I turned to writing.
The last 6 months I’ve been writing about everything and anything the only criteria I had was I needed to enjoy it. My biggest regret of not writing much last year isn’t that it hurt me during my Barstool Idol audition, it’s that I didn’t talk about 76er fans telling me to kill myself. Luckily, I now write for a site with a large Philly following so next time, there will without a doubt be a next time, the city of Philadelphia gets mad at me we can talk about my funeral arrangements here. Don’t worry, all that death threat stuff is water under the bridge.
I’m so excited to be part of the Branded team and I hope we can all be friends, or at least argue about dumb shit on Twitter. I might only be one blogger but I think the group Joe has put together here can do something special in this beautiful, disgusting wasteland called the internet.
