It’s finally here, the weekend we’ve all been waiting for. COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEKEND (For real this time)!! For the rest of the year waking up Saturday’s (maybe a gap here or there) means College Game Day Live, whiskey in my coffee and a cool breeze flowing through my boxers. What a time to be alive!! This week, the big boys take the field. These teams are competing for playoff spots NOW! But it’s not just Saturday, no no, we have College Football Friday, Saturday, Sunday, AND Monday.
Side Note: Last week 3-1. Good start to the season!
Taking away from high school football, Friday night features 3 ranked teams.
Utah State at #11 Michigan State
Michigan State is a 23 point favor against the Aggies. Sooooo it’ll be close.

Michigan State over Utah State
Western Kentucky at #4 Wisconsin
Wisconsin by 90…..
San Diego State at #13 Stanford
Heisman Trophy Candidate, Bryce Love, will plow his way for a 100+ yard game. Should be a solid 2 touchdown win for the Cards.
Get hyped for gameday.

Stanford over SD State
Saturday
#14 Michigan at #12 Notre Dame
Can’t get a better atmosphere than a night game with Touchdown Jesus in the background. Michigan fans are hoping they bounce back from an 8 win season which ended without a bowl victory. Jimmy Harbaugh is not on the hot seat yet, but if the Wolverines start the season with an L. Then his ass might be in the jackpot.
Notre Dame had themselves a season last year going for 10 wins. QB Brandon Wimbush returns under center with the possibility of Ian Book taking some snaps in a two QB system.Ā Some Irish faithfulĀ say this will be the breakout season. A week 1 dub will definitely help set the tone and boost their resume.
Notre Dame over Michigan (Wish both teams can loss)
#6 Washington vs #9 Auburn (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Ga)
Tough start for the Washington Huskies, some “experts” have them going to the CFP. Beating a ranked SEC team will be a huge check on the resume . Auburn is the best team in the SEC, not named Alabama or Georgia, with one of the better defenses in the nation. Get your popcorn for this one, it’ll be the best game of the weekend.
Auburn over Washington. Roll Toomer’s Corner!
No. 3ļøā£ on my @AuburnFootball traditions anticipation countdown: rolling Toomerās Corner š³
Nothinā like this unique celebration with tens of thousands of your closest friends! (Hoping my throwing arm šŖš¾ still has some juice)

Turn over chain is back (hate it). Miami had a massive collapse at the end of last year, which I enjoyed every second. Make no mistake, Miami is back and they’ll compete for a spot at the end of the year (until the lose to Clemson in the ACC Championship). Miami coming in with the fresh gear, but fresh gear doesn’t guarantee a win. Especially when your going against a coach like this.

Coach O’s seat is getting hot in Baton Rouge. LSU fans think because they won a few titles, with some of the best coaches in CFB history, they should be in the mix every year. Not the case when you’re in the toughest conference in the land. Coach O will bring them back!

Keep an Eye on This Game
Tennesse vs #17 West Virginia at BofAĀ StadiumĀ Charlotte, NC
Tennessee is rebuilding with new head coach, former Alabama defensive coordinator, Jeremey Pruitt. The Vols will start the season with a two quarterback system, pretty bold for a first year coach with Ā die hard fans.

It’s the first time facing each other in history. West Virginia has potential Heisman, Will Grier, leading the air assault with returning wideout David Sills V. The tandem will create a high scoring offense that’ll be hard to stop.

I think Tennessee can make a game of it, but in the end WVU will be too much offense for them to handle.
