Did you think you were going to just wake up on this lovely July morning without huge NBA news? Yeah, me too. My phone was BLOWING up at like 2AM and honestly I’m not even mad. Kawhi not only signs with the Clippers but he somehow brought Paul George with him and would you look at that the Lakers are still the second best basketball team in LA.
OKC got a huge haul for George but who cares about that. The story here is the biggest free agent acquisition the Lakers got wasn’t Kyrie. It wasn’t Kemba. It sure as fuck wasn’t Kawhi, no the LA Lakers signed Jared Dudley… Lakers should be a playoff team unless something catastrophic happens but they are bringing back last years team with AD, could be worse but oh boy I know this isn’t what those completely reasonable Laker fans were expecting.
