Well just like that week one of the NFL season has come and gone. With the exception of tonights Monday Night football game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills of course. You can get my pick for that game over on Tiktok or by going back to the original blog linked here.
It felt great to have the NFL back and while week one wasn’t that pretty, we still came out with a lot of winners. We started off HOT on Thursday night with the Detroit Lions taking down the defending Champs the Kansas City Chiefs. I told you guys I liked the Lions on the points and if Kelce didn’t play I liked the Lions on the moneyline.
We carried that momentum into Sunday as we ended up getting 10 winners(Jets/Bills pick pending) out of the 15 games on our straight picks. 10-5 to start the season?!?! Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
The losses we did have were the Vikings, Steelers, Broncos, Seahawks, and Giants. The Vikings and Broncos games were both close and if their starting QBs would’ve actually showed up they would’ve won those games. The Steelers and Giants just flat out SUCKED. Hand up that’s on me for thinking Kenny Pickett and Daniel Jones were not going to be god awful.
I’d also like to apologize for picking against Matt Stafford. Guy is a legend and does’t get enough respect around the league. Even with coming off the injury I should’ve known he was still great.
Now for Walsh’s Winners and how I did there on my locks of the weekend….
3-0!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS WAS TOO EASY!!!!! The Jags and Eagles gave us a little bit of a scare but there was never a doubt. Good teams win and great teams cover. As for the Dolphins and Chargers over 50.5. An absolute shootout as I expected that was easy breezy.
Hopefully you listened to me and see yourself up some money from the day. Week two video and Blog will be up Thursday morning and we will continue to be in the green.
