Happy Monday! May I interest you in some new news in the never-ending Ben Simmons saga?
Earlier today, reports indicated that Blazers star Damian Lillard wants to stay in Portland and play with Ben Simmons as opposed to being traded to the Sixers. After a tumultuous season thus far that has seen GM Neil Olshey fired for workplace discrimination and harassment, tensions have continued to rise to a point where Dame requested a change to be made.

Fellow Blazers star CJ McCollum, who has been much quieter about his intentions, seems to have “hinted” at his desire to play with the Sixers young core and make a run for a championship in the same state he played his college ball at (Lehigh).
Rumors have the Sixers acquiring McCollum, a first-round pick, and one of Nassir Little or Anfernee Simons (who I am personally a HUGE fan of) in a swap for Simmons.
While we don’t know if McCollum’s recent Instagram activity is representative of anything actually happening, this could surely be a sign of things to come. NBA players don’t typically follow Franklin the Dog for no reason.
