Well we knew it was more than likely only a matter of time before it happened due to the Flyers losing 8 straight games. But it is now official that AV is out as head coach of the Flyers.
I will say I am still a little surprised because given the history of how the ownership group doesn’t care about this team at all I figured they would let this ride a little bit longer.
Michel Therrien is also out as well and maybe this is the start of a few major changes.
Mike Yeo will serve as the Interim head coach for the time being and I will have more to say about this entire situation in a later blog.
