This off-season has been a nightmare for the Philadelphia Sixers and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop anytime soon.
Rumors have been circulating about Ben Simmons wanting out and wanting to play solely in California, Joel Embiid and Doc Rivers not wanting Simmons back in a Sixers uniform and blaming him for the series loss against Atlanta, and even that he prefer to play for any other of the 29 teams as long as he is. It in Philly.
Well, Joel Embiid finally spoke on the topics being discussed and he chose violence doing so.
Sources “Trust me bro”!! Stop using my name to push people’s agendas. I love and hate drama. I love playing with Ben. Stats don’t lie. He’s an amazing player and we all didn’t get the job done. It’s on me personally. I hope everyone is back cuz we know we’re good enough to win https://t.co/1kq9VI9byE

I haven’t forgotten but 2 years ago, I got booed, people in Philly wanted me to be traded. I even shushed them. Only the real ones didn’t but I just put the work in that offseason to be better cuz I knew I wasn’t playing up to my potential. Philly fans, y’all also gotta be better

As a Sixers fan, I’m over the Ben Simmons process and it’s time to move on. Simmons has shown little to no progress offensively, he even may have regressed. It’s just so sad to see a player that was hyped up to be so dominate do the total opposite.
Oh well, good riddance.
