Little bit of a shocker here but the Blackhawks are finalizing a deal to acquire the reigning Vezina trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury from the Vegas Golden Knights.
Now, this is a trade that could end up doing nothing for the Blackhawks because Fleury is thinking about retirement. So basically they are trading nothing to get him because he may not end up playing next season.
If he does play, Chicago has really put themselves back in a position to be a playoff contender team again. It’ll be interesting to see how this situation ends up playing out.
