Oskar Strong

There is nobody more deserving of this award than the man that just won it. Oskar Lindblom had the battle of his life and he came out of it stronger than ever. After being diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in December of 2019 Lindblom battled during a global pandemic to fight his way back.

He would make his triumph return in the playoffs against the New York Islanders and played this entire season this year. In a year full of not many positive things, we can hang out hats on the fact that Oskar Lindblom is healthy and getting back to being able to live his normal life.

You truly love to see him getting this honor and it is much deserved. I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re all looking forward to seeing Oskar back on the ice come the fall.
