As we all know the Eagles have lacked big time at the linebacker position for years. Well today the Eagles have signed Eric Wilson, former Vikings linebacker to a 1 year deal worth up to $3.25 million.
#Eagles are signing former #Vikings LB Eric Wilson, sources say. One-year deal worth up to $3.25 million. Wilson heads to Philly after registering 122 tackles and three INTs for Minnesota last year.

This signing is a very underrated and surprisingly cheap deal for the Eagles. Wilson totaled 122 tackles and 3 INTs last season for the Vikings.
This signing just like Anthony Harris makes a lot of sense. Jonathan Gannon, who is now the Eagles defensive coordinator is a Mike Zimmer disciple. Gannon coached under Zimmer in Minnesota, so the scheme fit makes a lot of sense with Wilson.
Another former #Viking as Jonathan Gannon brings in more players familiar with the scheme he’s going to implement. Wilson should play MLB. https://t.co/5GaQS73pop

I’m really impressed with the signings of Harris and Wilson for the price they got both of them at. Lets just hope Howie doesn’t botch this years draft.
