Well well well, maybe not all hope is lost for the Flyers and their chance to play in the Lake Tahoe Series next weekend. As you can see from the tweet above from our friend NRD, it looks like the NHL is still expecting the Flyers to play in the Lake Tahoe Series against the Bruins.
There were rumors that due to the Flyers COVID issue the New York Rangers were going to step in and take their spot. Now, there seems to be a sense of hope the Flyers are still going to be able to make the trip. The Flyers currently have seven players on the COVID list. Justin Braun, Claude Giroux, Morgan Frost, Oskar Lindblom, Scott Laughton, Jake Voracek, and Travis Sanheim.
The good news for the Flyers is that no new players have been added to the list over the last two days. That could mean that their outbreak is under control and their schedule to get back in business is looking good. The Flyers are scheduled to be allowed back to their facility tomorrow and their next game is scheduled for Thursday against the New York Rangers.
Now as of yet, nothing has been confirmed whether the Flyers will be in or out of the Lake Tahoe game but once we know for sure we will update you. Hopefully all of the players affected by the COVID outbreak are feeling better and recovering quickly.
