Well this isn’t exactly ideal…Carter Hart left this mornings skate and now the Flyers have called up Alex Lyon from the taxi squad on an emergency basis. Now, this could be nothing at all and just be a minor little thing Hart is dealing with or it could be bigger.
I think I speak for all of Philadelphia when I say we are all collectively holding our breathes hoping to get more of an update on Hart as soon as possible. The good news is Hart was not scheduled to start tonight anyway and now Alex Lyon will be the backup for Brian Elliott. Hopefully we will get an update either during the game or after the game on the status of Carter Hart. After tonight the Flyers next game is Sunday afternoon against the Washington Capitals.
