Wake Up Philadelphia! Flyers vs Devils Gameday Preview(Game 7)

Kwals

Start Time: 7:00pm on NBC Sports Philadelphia

Location: Prudential Center

Last Season Series:

The Devils and Flyers met three times last season where the Flyers would win 2 of the 3. The first came all the back in October in what was the Flyers home opener last year. That was the game where Carter Hart made this incredible save on Taylor Hall….

Pretty crazy that was last season as honestly you could’ve told me that happened six years ago and I would have believed you. That save was one of the many highlights in a 4-0 Flyers win setting the tone for a very successful year on home ice. The next meeting would come in November in a game that was a little bit closer as it required more than the regular sixty minutes. A back an forth affair that would see the teams exchange goals throughout with Joel Farabee tying the game late to send it to overtime. It would then head to a shootout where Sean Couturier would give the Flyers the win. The third and final meeting came in Febuary in what was a game the Flyers wanted to forget as they were blanked 5-0. It was a game where they outshot the Devils 46-19 but Mackenzie Blackwood stood on his head and picked up the shutout.
