This evening Devonta Smith took home the 2020 Heisman Trophy. Smith is the 3rd receiver to win the Heisman Trophy in the history of the award, and the first to do it since Desmond Howard in 1991.
Final Heisman vote:

2. Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
3. Mac Jones, Bama
4. Kyle Trask, Florida

Devonta Smith was seen as a dark horse Heisman candidate for a majority of the season. As the season progressed, and none of the quarterback finalists were able to separate themselves from the pack (Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones, and Kyle Trask), Smith became the clear front runner.
Smith was the premier target of his teammate and fellow Heisman Mac Jones who together lead one of the greatest offenses in the history of college football.
A cool moment was shared between Smith and Jones during the Heisman ceremony this evening.
