To be clear, he was fined for tampering but the reason he was fined wasn’t tampering.

This tweet, that got deleted minutes after being automatically posted by a third party app, is not tampering. Like, at all. Which brings up the question of why or what was he actually fined for.

Greenie brings up a decent enough point. I just don’t know what the Sixers and/or Morey did in the whole Harden saga that would warrant a fine. Honestly, I don’t expect more details to come out but it is strange to see teams getting in trouble for tampering. A few years ago it was just a joke on Twitter and no one actually seemed to care and now there’s somewhat serious consequences.
