It wouldn’t be 2020 if we had a season opener without any issues. Between Covid, Harden breaking protocol and an existing injury the Rockets don’t have enough players to play in tonight’s game.
With the shortened season I hope we can get this game rescheduled but I do wonder how teams are going to react if team A only plays 70 games because of cancelled games. I’m not sure how this will affect the post season. I mean you know it’s going to somehow mess this up.
After the NBA declared James Harden "unavailable due to violation of health and safety protocols," it is still unclear to both Harden and the Rockets how long he'll be unavailable or whether he'll face league punishment, sources tell @ramonashelburne and me.
