Celtics Honor Tommy Heinsohn

Eddie

Tommy passing away is obviously sad. He’s one of the few celebrity deaths that really hit me hard. It’s going to be very sad and hard without him calling games this year. Tommy, for me, always felt like part of the family. I’m 24, I can’t remember a time where he wasn’t calling home games. Of course he’s missed games here and there but since I’ve become invested in Celtics basketball he’s been the guy on the call. Hall of fame, player, coach, announcer and human. First ballot.

Tommy will be missed but not forgotten.
