Bam Adebayo is ranked No. 13 on ESPN’s Top 100 List, above Embiid, CP3, Ben Simmons, Booker, Donovan Mitchell, Paul George, Bradley Beal, KAT, Kyrie.

So ESPN released its 2020-2021 Top 100 list, and they have Bam Adebayo 13th, which is one slot ahead of Joel Embiid(14), and three spots a head of Ben Simmons (16).
Honestly it’s completely laughable that anyone in their right minds believe Adebayo is better than Embiid or Simmons. I don’t know who comes up with these rankings, but there is no way it’s anyone with basketball knowledge. Don’t get me wrong Adebayo is a nice player, but this guy isn’t on the same level as Embiid or Simmons. He averaged 15.9 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 5.1 apg, 1.3 bpg, 1.1 spg, compared to Joel Embiids 23.0ppg, 11.6 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.3 bpg, and 1.0 spg, and compared to Ben Simmons 16.4 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 7.9 apg, .8 bpg, and 2.2 spg.
Embiid and Adebayo aren’t even on the same planet when it comes to talent. Simmons has numbers that only Lebron, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson has accomplished.
This list is a complete joke. There are other players who got completely slapped in the face worst than Embiid and Simmons did. Zach Lavine was ranked 56th in the league behind Christian Wood, Lonzo Ball, Jusuf Nurkic, Deandre Ayton, and Michael Porter Jr. My eyes bulged out of my skull when I saw Christian Wood ranked higher than Zach Lavine.
Christian Wood and Lonzo Ball over Zach Lavine?!?!?! #espn #nba pic.twitter.com/UC0O37CN18

All in all, ESPN needs to start highering some people who have actual basketball knowledge instead of people who use algorithms to figure these lists out.
