The Sixers are trading Al Horford and a first-round and second-round pick to the Thunder for Danny Green, sources tell ESPN.

The greatest Woj bomb Philly has seen since they traded for Butler. After signing 47 year old Al Horford to a massive deal, he underperformed all year and a month in Morey got rid of him. Big time cleaning house and Sixers fans gotta love it.
I’m not as inspired as Sixers fans, I think this is a smart move. You didn’t get better but you got a gross contract off the books and now you have options which is all you can ask for. They should make a push for someone like Joe Harris once free agency starts. I don’t see this movie helping them land Lavine, Beal, Harden etc. though. This free agent class is weak but next year is loaded, great time to start unloading contracts.
Hey Tobi, you’re next.
The Sixers are also sending the rights to Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic to the Thunder, sources tell ESPN. Micic, 26, is considered one of Europe's top point guards. https://t.co/NXEzcdyoTH

$18M toward the luxury tax for 2020-21 + $7.7M in salary
$42M in savings in 2021/22 and 2022/23 with the Horford contract off the books
Philadelphia will still have the $5.7M tax ML available in FA
