Alriiight folks we got another card this weekend from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas with a stellar Lightweight main event between #7 Paul Felder (+155) vs #12 (Welterweight) Rafael Dos Anjos (-190).
The card overall is a little subpar but this main event is cant miss stuff. This was originally going to be Islam Makhachev matching up with Dos Anjos until he withdrew with an undisclosed injury on Sunday. With the main event in jeopardy with less than a week to go for the card, insert Paul Felder, whom seemingly had no issue taking on this fight against a very very formidable Rafael Dos Anjos.

This man was 170+ pounds on Monday when he took this fight and cut it down to 155 for today, which is Friday. That is about as savage as you can possibly get.

In terms of how this fight is going to play out, well i got one thing to say. HAMMER HAMMER HAMMER PAUL FELDER. He opened as a +200 dog, which i took, he’s sitting at +155 right now on Bovada. These are some great odds that i am very very confident in Felder getting the job done.
Felder is at that point in his career where he’s going to do what makes sense for him and his future. He’s 36 years old and I’m sure he got paid pretty well to step in. He’s got nothing to lose here. It’s not like if he loses to this guy people will think he sucks or anything. I think RDA is in a very tough spot. It’s nothing to lose for Felder and a lot to lose for RDA. RDA has been training this whole time to fight for a grappler and now he’s fighting an elite level striker. That usually doesn’t work out. RDA has lost four of his past five fights. It wouldn’t be smart of RDA to try and strike with Felder, he will need to take him down. But im not very confident that is going to happen.
Both of these fighters absolutely deserve an applause for taking this fight on the short notice they did. This is one of those things where fighters fight and both are showing they’re real fighters. I see Felder getting a finish in the later rounds. The only reason because I think you’re gonna see a really really loose, relaxed, and confident Felder. He’s doing it because he wants to. Rafael Dos Anjos is in a position where he has to. A loose and relaxed fighter is a dangerous fighter. Felder by TKO in the 4th round.
I meaaan how can you not bet on this guy?
