Look, I want to be on her side. The guy has to understand you don’t wash food with soap and water. Whether you cook or don’t, you just have to know that. Water is wet, the sky is blue and don’t wash chicken with soap. But in his defense, she didn’t clearly state what she wanted done. Yes he should know that but at the same time, your fault for leaving things up to interpretation.
I remember one time my uncle asked my cousin to flip the laundry from the washer to the dryer while we were playing Mario Kart. Washer went off, she took the clothes out of the washer and threw them into the dryer. 40 minutes or so he came downstairs to fold the clothes and was shocked when everything was soaked still. He said, ‘I thought I told you to flip the laundry?’ She said, ‘I did. You didn’t tell me to turn it on.’
She wasn’t being an asshole or spiteful. She was just following directions word for word. That’s not on her, that’s on him. Same scenario here. Got to clear it up for his guy.
