“THE DOUBLE CHAMP DOES WHATEVER THE FOOK HE WANTS!”
LETS FOOKIN GOOOO!!!! Conor McGregor has officially verbally agreed to the rematch with Dustin Poirier for January 23rd.
I can’t wait for this one that’s for damn sure. After all the back and forth on Twitter and throughout the media we finally have a date set for this highly anticipated rematch.
As you can see from his Tweet, Conor wants this fight to happen in Jerry World. Will Dana White feel the same way? That remains to be seen but you’d have to think he knows how big of an event this could be and he’d want to do everything he can to make it a huge deal. Conor is a huge draw regardless of who he is fighting and this PPV will do major numbers.
The other interesting thing here is that Conor has also pretty much confirmed that after this rematch he has his eyes set on a Manny Pacquiao dream match. Who knows if that will actually happen but either way I’m pumped to see McGregor back in the octagon.
This won’t be an easy fight for the “Champ, Champ” Dustin Poirier is a great fighter and will be a real challenge for McGregor. If Poirier could pull off the upset it would easily put him in the conversation for the title.
As 1/3 of the Tapout Bros(Me, Chavy, and Mac) we are trying to convince our wonderful CEO to send us to Dallas to cover this event in person.
