Flyers Draft Tyson Foerster At 23

There ya have it folks the Flyers selected Tyson Foerster from the Barrie Colts of the OHL with the 23rd overall pick. Lots of rumors about them trading it but in the end they held onto and were able to grab Foerster.

Let’s take a look at some of his stats from last season with the Colts.

36G, 44A, 80PTS, -17+/-

Overall especially with this draft who knows how Foerster will turn out. On the broadcast they were comparing him to Corey Perry and I don’t hate that. He had the 80 points in the OHL last season and thats not too shabby. He won’t be on the team next year and probably not the year after that either but it will be interesting to see how he can develop over the next few years.

Heres a little bit of a highlight tape to get to know the Flyers pick…
