1st in the division baby! If you ain’t first, you’re last. With week four in the books, each division (almost, thanks alot Titans) has played a combined season’s worth of games. And the NFC East is an impressive 3-12-1. With one of those wins coming against another division rival. That’s not the stat we’re here to talk about but holy moly, that is not great. But as a wise man once said, ‘it is what it is.’
Eagles saved their season last night after the Cowboys took a big pooped against the Browns. And during the Philadelphia San Fran game, Wentz & Fulgham hooked up for wild 42 yard score.
It was an amazing play that lifted the Birds. They never looked back after that score and JJAW is basically dead after that catch. Cut him, we don’t need him, we’ve got Fulgham. And just how impressive was this score? Let’s check Next Gen Stats.
Less than a 1 in 4 chance this pass should have been completed. Fulgham made a great play but let’s not act like this wasn’t a perfectly thrown ball by Carson. He couldn’t have dropped it in there any better. Last night he threw an early interception but after that he looked like his old self again. FINALLY! Just willing this roster of no bodies to a win on the road against one of the best teams in the NFC. It was an impressive win buuuuuuuttttt how long is this feeling going to last?
Eagles have a brutal two weeks coming up with the Steelers and Ravens back to back. I don’t look at that and see two wins. If they could pull out (lol) one of those two, it will be a massive success.
Until then, Go Birds and Cowboys Suck!
