I want to start by saying I love AV and am very happy with him as the head coach of the Flyers….That being said, the Capitals just landed an all time great. I fucking loved Lavy when he was with the Flyers.
Now, depending on if they change the NHL schedule at all the Flyers will have to go up against Lavy and the Caps a lot over these next few years.
Earlier this morning it was confirmed that Peter Laviolette agreed to a three year deal with the Washington Capitals. The deal looks to be for about $15 million in total according to my guy NRD.
I hate the Caps because they are a division rival. But, I absolutely love this hire for them. Lavy is a great coach and will get the best out of his players. He’s a proven leader and has a Stanley Cup to back it up. His players are going to respect him and he will have the Capitals playing some great hockey. I for one am not looking forward to playing against him for the next few years.
