Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars- Game 6

A tight checking first period as we expected…not really because this series has been wide open and goals have been getting scored left and right. It wouldn’t be until the 17 minute mark that we would see our first goal as Miro Heiskanen would give the Stars a 1-0 lead. It wouldn’t last long though as two minutes later Nikita Zadorov would tie the game up.
The second period was another tight checking period as these teams clearly put on their best defensive performances. A little over 7 minutes in Colorado defenseman Cale Makar would pot one to give the Avs a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.
Third string goalie Michael Hutchinson would steal the show in the third period as he shut the stars down. The big guns for the Avs would put in two more goals as Mikko Rantanen would score 3 minutes into the third and Nathan MacKinnon would add the empty netter. The Avalanche have battled back from a 3-1 deficit and have forced a game 7. That deciding game 7 will be on Friday night on NBCSN.
