“I’m… still Big Red”
I feel like Bring It On just came out yesterday but today we are celebrating 20 years! That is right people. Bring It On came out August 22, 2000.
Every cheerleader or fan of the classic 2000’s teen movie knows every line. It is an iconic movie of our generation. If you have been living under a rock these last two decades, let me give ya a quick rundown.
Kirsten Dunst, plays the role of Torrance Shipman, captain of the Rancho Carne High School cheerleading team. She learns that the previous captain has stolen their National winning routines from the East Compton Clovers. You can watch as these two squads prepare for nationals. Other actors in this movie are Gabrielle Union, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford, and more.
This movie will have you cracking up with the cheesy cheers and routine music but it is one the most beloved movies.
Since then, there has been 5 more movies and a Broadway version, which *cough, cough, Lin Manuel Miranda and the guys that wrote Hamilton helped create songs for.
If anyone needs me, I will be in bed watching Bring It On!
