Phillies have made a trade for Yankees David Hale. He’s a right handed reliever. Seven years in the league with a career ERA of 4.23 and a WHIP 1.43. But he hasn’t had an ERA above 3.12 over the last three seasons in New York.
It’s an ehhhh trade but honestly, anything will help at this point. If he comes in and be the 3.00 ERA pitcher he’s been he’ll be a hug addition. The bullpen is broken and needs some type of consistency.
