An octagon on the middle of an island? If the picture that Dana White posted of the first look at Fight Island didn’t cause you to change your pants you’re not a true MMA fan.
So unless you live under a rock then you most likely know that this Saturday Night we have the first UFC event on Fight Island. That’s right UFC 251 comes to you live from Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
This may be the most stacked UFC card of all time and hopefully can live up to all the hype. We have not 1, not 2, but 3 thats right THREE Championship fights coming at ya. Peter Yan and Jose Aldo will battle for the vacant Bantamweight Title, Max Holloway will look to reclaim the belt he lost to Alexander Volkanovski as the Featherweight title is on the line, and finally in the Main event we have a Welterweight Championship fight between two longtime teammates in Gilbert Burns and Kamaru Usman. Shout-out Gilbert Burns for making @chavy26 have to do long divison…
I am fucking hype for this card, because on top of the three title fights we also have the return of “Thug” Rose Namajunas, who we haven’t seen since her loss back in May of 2019 to her opponent Saturday night Jessica Andrade. And, if that wasn’t enough to get you excited we also get to see the beautiful badass Paige VanZant back in the octagon for the first time since January of 2019.
So cancel your Saturday night plans right now, pick up a case of beer and settle in because you are not going to want to miss a second of the action on Saturday Night.
