After 22 years of playing professional basketball, Vince Carter has decided to walk away officially today. Vintage Vince came into the game and left his mark in it.
Arguably the best player in Toronto Raptors history averaged 23.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 3.8 apg. But that’s not what us NBA fans know him for. We know him as the best dunker in NBA history. He earned the nick name half man- half amazing because of it.

Half man, half amazing 🙏🏽
The guy was just electrifying. You didn’t pay to see the raptors, you paid to see Vince dunk out of the building.
As a Sixers fan Vince Carter and and Raptors gave us some of the hardest playoffs series during the AI era. Ya hated him at the time because of how good he was, but low key respected everything about his game.
So long Vintage Vince, have a happy retirement. We all know you’ll still some how be around basketball though.
