Did you wake up this morning? Well, if you’re reading this than that means you did and congratulations you survived another end of the world scare. Okay probably not really a scare but you get the point. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about let me fill you in.
Conspiracy theorists claimed that the original Mayan calendar that predicted the world would end in 2003 2012 was wrong and that the world was really supposed to end on June 21, 2020. Well guess who was wrong again.. that’s right bitches it’s June 22nd and we’re all still here so you can suck on that conspiracy theorist and Mayan Calendar.
Now don’t get me wrong I love me a good conspiracy theory and if you get sucked into the online rabbit hole of one you’ll end up believing it or at least starting to. But when it comes to people or calendars predicting the end of the world I have zero faith that those will ever be accurate. Especially at this point when it comes to the Mayan calendar because this is now the third time in my lifetime that it’s been wrong. So if this is a best of 7 series, going down 3-0 isn’t going to be an easy task to come back from. Also, if we’re being honest I gotta say i’m rooting for the sweep here because if they get one right that likely means we’d all be dead.
Another end of the world scare has come and gone and while the world is kind of falling apart right now with everything going on, I’m confident that things will get better. So give yourself a pat on the back and keep enjoying life. I’m sure in a few years the conspiracy theorist will come out and say the calculations were wrong and the world is really supposed to end in like 2025 or some shit like that. Until then, let’s keep living our lives and try to make the world a better place by being a little nicer to each other.
