I’m not a big fan of these re-airs. I watch some of the Allen Iverson 60 point game and the Texas/USC national championship game. Maybe dabble a little here and there in some other productions but it just doesn’t hit the same as live sports. The Match II was a billion times better than any of these re-airs. Need that rush of unexpected excitement.
With that being said, this is totally different. There was no more exciting post season run in Philadelphia sports history than these Phillies. It felt like every single game had it’s own special unforgettable moment. The Myers walk, the Joe Blanton homer, Utley’s fake throw, Matt Stairs moonshot and of course Lidge closing the door. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Here’s how the full schedule looks.
No I will say, I’m not sure who wants to watch the loses. That doesn’t make much sense to me. Fuck those game. Lets focus on thew W’s. So with that in mind here are the games to skip.
NLDS Game 3 6/3
NLCS Game 3 6/10
World Series Game 2 6/16
Leave those games be, no need to go through that nonsense again. Hopefully this helps us close out the month of June and gets us a little closer to real sports getting back. Love that they are having the games start at 7pm each night. Gives us big time Phillies summer baseball vides. Also looking forward to watching game 5 in one sitting. Breaking it up in two parts was a killer in real time.
