We are getting closer and closer to the start of the NFL season. The closer we get the more positive news we receive from the league or members of the leagues staff. Late last night, Nfl Executive V.P. of Football Operations spoke with Brian Mitchell on The Team 980 and said “Now, remember when we’re talking, we are talking about August, September. So there’s a lot that can happen here. So we’re planning for full stadiums.”
That statement speaks volumes. It goes on par with what has been floating around the social media world for several weeks now. The NFL knows they would lose billions of dollars this season if fans don’t attend. The statement by Troy Vincent also tells me that the Leagues gathered further information about the beginning of normalizing the country. This is a pretty big step moving foward.
As an Eagles fan, I’m praying this holds true. I want to be waking up at 6 am getting my stuff ready for a tailgate in Jetro Parking lot. Drinking ice cold bud lights, tossing some baggo, grilling up some food, oh and last but not least screaming out some drunken EAGLES chants. Then making my way to the Linc and watching the birds do their thing. CANT WAIT (Bart Scott voice)
This Philthy fan, in his cutoff t-shirt, went viral for his reaction to the #Eagles game…Turns out, he’s the Dean of Admissions at Penn University. Ivy League. @1053SS @Rjchoppy @Tommysledge @1053thefanpic.twitter.com/tNqVqD9C6i— Roy White III (@RDubThree) September 23, 2019
