Darren Rovell is the epitome of a spineless internet troll. If you don’t remember who Darren is that’s okay, he’s the guy who posted the HD video of the JFK assassination. Don’t get me wrong he’s one of the most successful ones, 2 million followers and a reported net worth of $7 million? Not to shabby Darren. The big downside to Darren is like I said before, he’s spineless. He will hop on any social trend whether he believes what he is saying or not in hopes that it helps his argument or grows his following. Very Clay Travis like. No better example then when he tried to befriend the Pardon My Take guys for like 3 years to get on their podcast just to burn that bridge because he got into an argument with KFC from Barstool. There’s no need to bring up all the details that isn’t what this is about. It’s about this.
It is very hot in these internet streets to hate on rich people. As a poor like the rest of you I don’t have a dog in this fight but what I don’t understand is how it has become acceptable to shame people for donating millions. I mean no matter which way you cut it $100 million is an insane amount of money that will do a lot of good and somehow that isn’t enough? It is not rich people’s responsibility to donate anything but getting mad at how much they donated is laughable.
I’m off track though, the reason I’m even writing this is because Darren got dunked through the Earths crust!
.@darrenrovell we’ve seen the increase in food demand during this crisis. 2,200 families pictured who’s parents lost their jobs & seniors who can’t get food at the grocery store. @JeffBezos stepped up to provide hope. Feel free to do the same, https://t.co/hYlurGGoPx. pic.twitter.com/mFRh2pqrm7— United Food Bank (@UnitedFoodBank) April 8, 2020
I mean Darren gets dunked on pretty often but this is next level. He has to be the only person to be absolutely obliterated by a food bank right? I know it’s some like 20 year old intern but it’s still funny. Everyone knows that the worst thing you can do is delete a tweet once you get fried, that’s internet 101. Instant defeat. Once you delete the tweet you shouldn’t then reply like a you still have a valid point, though. Darren doesn’t play by our rules, he’s a bad boy.
I did donate.— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) April 8, 2020
Well never mind I take it all back, he donated so he is allowed to say whatever he likes with no recourse. I am curious, Darren your net worth is $7 million so you must’ve given several hundred thousands I assume.
Now I don’t care how much he donated or even if he actually donated but I don’t like the hypocrisy. You don’t get to get on your high horse and be a champion for the people, the voice of the average American when you aren’t one. Multimillionaire talking bad about a multimillionaire to appease everyday people is slimy. I will always respect how even when he is wrong and deletes a tweet because of it he still claps back to random people, that shit will always be funny.
So reply now.— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) April 8, 2020
