The Beginning Of The End, Esports Betting Guide Playoff Edition

Above I linked the schedule of the LCS playoffs. It is a 2 bracket format with the 1-4 seeds starting in the winners bracket and the bottom 2 teams starting in the losers bracket. If you are in the Winners bracket it is double elimination, if you are starting in the Losers then you’re not so lucky. I’m going to be going over the 2 games from this weekend and I’ll have another blog going out Monday to talk about the Loser games for the week.

I do want to mention I got every qualifier game right on Monday and ended the regular season 17-11. Playoffs is a different animal but we’re getting hot when it matters most.

The Saturday game is between EG (2) -180 and Flyquest (4) +130. Flyquest is 0-2 against EG this season and went 1-2 in their week 9 matchups. EG has also been playing their best games of the split the last 4ish weeks. They’ve really ramped it up and at the right time, big reason they secured the 2 seed. I wish I could make an argument for Flyquest here but I can’t. I won’t blame you if you take the value of Flyquest who were the second best team most of the split but EG has won the head to head match ups very convincingly and they’re one of the hottest teams on the league right now.

Evil Geniuses –180

On Sunday we have Cloud 9 (1) -1800, no that isn’t a typo, going up against 100 Thieves (3) +700. Everyone thinks this is going to be a brutal stomp including myself. With that being said, it is a best of 5 and not just 1 game that decides this. I don’t see any way Cloud 9 doesn’t win and I would be shocked if it wasn’t a clean 3-0 sweep but at those odds it would be insane of me to tell you to take Cloud 9. You’ll make no money. I say take the value that 100 Thieves give you but just know you’re most likely losing money.
