Start Your Day With Joe Blanton’s 2008 World Series Performance

Branded Sports

Take us all back to simpler times. When the Phillies were good and the entire world wasn’t on lock down. Those 2008 Phillies were one the most loved squads in Philadelphia sports history. They were just as fun as they were good. Game 4 of that world series was Joe Blanton’s night.

6 innings pitched, 7 Ks, only 2 earned against him and a homerun of his own. It was the game that everyone knew the series was over. The Phillies were destined to win it all and no team was getting in the way of that.

Here’s to hopefully having baseball back in 2020.
