Sources: Eagles Are Working On A Trade For Darius Slay

The Eagles are working on a three year deal to bring in shutdown corner Darius Slay. Listen, this week has been a dud so far. We lost out on Deandre Hopkins for a ham sandwich. Didn’t pay the top Free Agent corner in Byron Jones, though I liked that move, because Howie Roseman and big Free Agency corners mix like Alshon Jeffrey and keeping secrets. Darius Slay though would be an awesome get. A true shutdown corner who hates everything about Detroit. The guy only allowed 15 completions on 27 targets last season, he’s made it to three straight Pro Bowls, he’d be a much needed upgrade in a secondary that desperately needs it. Pair this with a star WR from this draft class and not having to take another corner until the later rounds, and we might be actually looking at a 2020 season.

The Eagles are 17-1 to win the Super Bowl at the moment. 17-1. Just saying…

Just saw Amari Cooper calls Darius Slay his daddy. $100 million dollars for NOTHING.

I’m reading only pro Darius Slay content until this deal is signed. Don’t care if he had a ‘down’ 2019 according to the haters.

Also, Carson Wentz may never have to throw at him again.
