Wow, Eagles are letting Malcom Jenkins hit the market. A lot of fans will be upset but this was bound to happen. He was great for the Birds and one of the reasons they won their Super Bowl but when it’s time it’s time. For Jenkins and the Eagles, it was time. Yes he was a leader on and off the field but this is a business and tough decisions need to be made. Reports were Jenkins wanted somewhere around $15 million a year. This team needs to get under and cheaper in certain areas. This hurts the heart but makes sense for the head.
Other Eagles news today:
Jordan Howard is off to Miami. Seems to be the trend right now. Players that have or should have played for the Eagles are heading to South Beach. Also not a concern, Miles Sanders is clearly the lead dog in the backfield.
Dolphins and former Eagles' RB Jordan Howard reached agreement on a two-year deal worth north of $10 million, per source.

Jalen Mills signs a one year extension. I expect he might try his hand at safety with the opening.
Comp update: Jalen Mills is signing a 1-year deal with the Eagles worth up to $5 million, per @RosenhausSports. https://t.co/5PTQVxPBK0
