Cincinnati Red’s pitcher Trevor Bauer had an idea during his pre-season pitching matchup vs the Dodgers. He’s done with the Astros and all this sign stealing and decided to take matters into his own hands. Little flip the glove time.
Trevor Bauer, Glove Signing his Pitches. 😂

The confidence of this guy is unreal. This is Larry Bird “I’m going to get the ball in the post and fade away” confident. This is 1932 Babe Ruth “I’m going to point where the ball is going to go and hit it there” confident. This is me walking up to the hottest girl in middle school with a face full of peanut butter covered braces and giving her a “Do you like me? Check yes or no” note and then not walking away until she checks yes, confident.
In an interview, they asked Derek Deitrich what it all was about. He responded “Trevor isn’t too fond of sign stealing. He figured he would do something new. Then there’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Just come and try to hit it.”
Will he bring this into the regular season? How far will pitchers go to tell the Astros to go fuck themselves? I don’t know about you but I’m excited to see.
