Duce is the guy everyone wants to see get a crack at the job and for good reason. He’s been with the team for a long time and has done a pretty good job. But other names are already starting to circulate on who will take Groh’s spot.
With the surprise dismissal of Mike Groh, one logical candidate to be the #Eagles offensive coordinator is QBs coach Press Taylor, from whose vault they drew the "Philly Special". Taylor's only 31, but he had some OC interest elsewhere last year.

I will say this, I don’t think it is going to be Press Taylor. I can see why that might be a logical pick seeing as you have a franchise QB on the roster. But with how all this just happened, I don’t think it will be him. I also don’t think it will end up being Duce either. I know Philly loves Duce, I love the guy too but this seems like it’s going to be a bigger name. The fact that Lurie basically took everything Doug said yesterday and flipped it tells me he wants to make a splash.
A guy like Lincoln Riley feels like something that would interest Lurie. Really impressive track record at Oklahoma and especially when it comes to offense. Former quarterback himself, feels like a great fit.
But only time will tell, and at the end of the day – thank sweet baby Jesus Groh is gone.
