Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have hired a new head coach after 9 years of Jason Garrett.
They talked to Marvin Lewis.. They even called Jeff Fisher.. Oh god please no.
There were rumors of a big name college coach. Urban Meyer? Maybe Lincoln Riley?
Nope.
They are going with an established former Super Bowl winning head coach…
Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy won one Super Bowl (AT JERRY WORLD.)
I am not sure exactly how I am feeling about this yet. I think I am excited because it’s not Jason Garrett.
Some say.. He only won ONE Super Bowl and I say bring me ONE and I’m good with it since it’s been about 100 years since the Cowboys won one.
But, I want the team to clean house except for Columbo. Please don’t make McCarthy keep Assistant coaches already there.
People knock McCarthy for not adjusting as the game changed. But he has been away for a year and apparently has dove into analytics.
