I know Boats usually does the movie reviews but I have finally finished Endgame and I don’t care that it came out a year ago, better late than never or something right?
I’m not a huge movie critic guy, I like what I like. I’m not a big superhero guy. To be completely honest most superhero movies I don’t like. I thought Infinity War was amazing and one of my favorite movies that have come out recently. It made perfect sense, I was engaged and watching the whole time. I genuinely didn’t want it to end. It wasn’t like that with Endgame.
Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad, obviously. It was fine. Just fine. Before you get upset and tweet me how successful it was blah blah blah remember that I don’t care what you think. You can love it and I can think it’s okay, both can be true. I know it was necessary but the first I don’t know two hours or so was just draggggging on.
For the most part the team getting the stones was interesting and the fight scenes were obviously amazing. But when only 30 minutes of the 3 hour movie is worth watching the movie might not be worth watching.
Also, I knew Iron Man died the day the movie came out and no one told me about ScarJo killing herself for the greater good. Not even a peep. Talk about sexism smh.
Now that my feminist points are at an all time high what the fuck was that scene when all the girl superheroes got together to help Captain Marvel.
I mean how fucking corny was that? I’m all for women empowerment and all that Jazz, let me pat myself on my back, but that was such a bad and unneeded scene. It’s a great message but can we give the message with some average writing?
I’m not going to get into the scenery or any of that, you saw it it was great. The fighting, amazing. The I love you 3000 line at the end, heart breaking.
A truly great 40 minutes, too bad the other two hours stunk.
I was about to go look for pictures for the blog and remembered about Captain America using Thors hammer. What the fuck. Absolute low point, truly made me sick to see. Captain America is so overrated and now he’s swinging Thors hammer, sick. Downgrading the movie from fine to subpar just for that. I did like him as the old man at the end though.
