John Witherspoon who was known for his roles in Friday, Next Friday, & Friday After the Next passed away at 77. More importantly he was an all time “That Guy” when ever you saw him on your TV. You know the actors who you see in every movie or TV show who aren’t quite enough Supporting Actor, but more cameo. He was in the conversation with all time that guy actors like the dad from Step Brothers or Colonel William Sharp from Armageddon No disrespect, I just learned his name was John Witherspoon after his death today.
All I know is John Witherspoon had one of the most distinctive voices and mannerisms ever. He played the crazy father/relative/guy character to a T. RIP John Witherspoon, I never knew your name, but you always made me laugh.
