RED ALERT EVERYONE
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. I could care less if it’s preseason or not, after two full seasons in the NBA, 76ers point guard Ben Simmons just made his first three pointer
THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

In all seriousness, this is an extremely good sign. Coming into a year where expectations are through the roof, Simmons will in fact have to find a way to make defenses respect him on the perimeter. He doesn’t need to look like Steph Curry out there, but knocking down wide open set shots is a great starting point.
Other than that, the Sixers have looked great in their first preseason game of the fall. They’re up 82-41 on the “Long-Lions” at the half, Embiid and Simmons are leading the charge with a combined 36 points. Rookie Matisse Thybulle has also impressed fans early on, recording 2 steals and 2 blocks in just 11 and a half minutes.
