We got winners baby! Last week 2-1 on our blogged picks. Looking at the board I got a 3-0 weekend eyed up Let’s get to it.
Jags (+3) @ Broncos
This is my favorite pick of the weekend. The Jags are an easy pick for me here. Denver over the last two years are 1-6 as home favorites. When the point spread is 3 points or less they are 0-4. Pair that with Denver’s 30th ranked defense and Jacksonville’s 10th ranked, you’re looking at two teams going in different directions. Flacco stink out loud and Gardner Minshew might be my new favorite player. He made some really impressive throws last week and currently has a 74% completion percentage. Give me Jags +3 and if you’re feeling dangerous go money line.
Browns @ Ravens (-6.5)
Browns are fake good. Everyone thinks they are a playoff team and they are far from that. Freddie Kitchens can’t coach his way out of a paper bag. He gave away a win last week while Baltimore just lost a game at Kansas City by 5. In that game Lamar Jackson didn’t play great and still had a chance to lead his team to a win. Also head to head Baltimore is 4-1 vs Cleveland against the spread. People also forget the Ravens won the division last year. Most people would probably tell you the Steelers won the North last year if you asked them. Ravens look real and the Browns look real bad. Give me Baltimore -6.5.
Washington @ NY Giants (-3)
All the trends leading into this would tell you bet Washington. New York over the last two years are 0-3 as home favorites and 4-13 at home against the spread overall. Not a great sign. But all those numbers and trends can be tossed out of the window. Those are all Eli noodle arm numbers. We’re now in the Daniel Jones era. He had 4 total touchdowns last week and got the win on the road. Case Keenum on the other hand had five turnovers. FIVE. His stock down, Daniel Jones’ stock up. Take the Giants to win -3. Also look to possibly parlay the Giants with the over 48.5. These two teams have combined for a 5-1 record so far this season with overs. Should be some points up for grabs.
