Streamers on Twitch have a storied history of saying dumb things while they’re live, it is half of what Twitch is. Just entertaining people being entertaining but they have to stick with in certain guidelines. Well, most of the streamers do.
Tfue is one of the most popular streamers there are right now and as I type this he is streaming to 40k+ people (I wrote this last night but after checking when I woke up nothing has changed). This is now the second time Tfue has said the N word on stream and to be honest I don’t know what happened the first time punishment wise. Knowing that he has said it multiple times on stream and how casual he said it in the clip above I think it is fair to say it is just apart of his everyday lexicon. That can’t be breaking news to anybody.
The weirdest part about all of this is that nothing has been done about it. Twitch has not taken action or even made a comment about the clip. Tfue removed the clip from his page but the internet never forgets. Twitch needs to either fully enforce their own rules or let the site be the wild fucking west. Personally, I don’t care what they decide to do but they need to either insta ban anyone for saying it or let everyone slide. TF Blade didn’t say the N word but got banned for 30 days anyway. His accent made the word he was saying sound kind of similar to it and upon further review Twitch said they can’t 100% be certain TF Blade didn’t say the N word but they still lowered his ban from 30 days to 7 days.
TF Blade clip
Hey everyone. This clip is the reason why I got suspended on twitch and I've done what I can to slow down the clip so that it's clear I didn't say a racial slur. I am still working with twitch to get this misunderstanding resolved, Thanks for all your support! @TwitchSupport pic.twitter.com/e4O7UVZqXN

You might know Alinity. There always seems to be drama around her, she is the girl who threw her cat and gave it vodka on stream. Not here to talk about that just showing another example of Twitch not following their own rules. I don’t think Alinity was saying the N word here but just like TF Blade because of her accent it sounds like it, I do think this is much closer than TF Blades, though.
I just want consistency and I imagine most of the streamers and viewers would as well. Twitch is under a massive microscope right now after Ninja left to join Mixer and they can’t afford to lose anymore big names. I mean imagine if they ban Tfue and then he starts streaming on Mixer? The two biggest Fortnite streamers going to your direct competition because of your incompetence? Heartbreaking stuff.
