What Condiments Would You Chose if 5 Of Your Fingers Could Dispense Your Favorites?

There are a lot of questions I have in life that are unanswered, hopefully this will be an opportunity to answer several of those.

Years ago when I was home in the summer I was mowing the lawn listening to the “Jay and Dan” Podcast, they are hosts in Canada for TSN and at the time were in LA working for the former Fox Sports FS1.

They raised a question I have been pondering for quite some time,

If the 5 fingers on your dominate hand could dispense condiments. Which ones would you chose? And Why?

While the possibilities are endless, you have to make practical choices in this instance. For example, do you include only your immediate favorites? Or do you include the condiments that you find are never readily available when they need to be? This is something that could spark a debate unlike we have ever pondered. This is what Branded is for. Answers.

I will start with my immediate choices off the top of my head. I would Immediately chose the “starting” 5.

  1. Ketchup
  2. Hot sauce
  3. Horseradish (Completely underrated by the general public)
  4. Ranch
  5. BBQ

I like what I have here, the staples are all covered. With this starting 5 I could pretty much take on any flavor or dish I hold dear. Though there is much speculation as to why any one of these would make the list. If I am in a condiment free setting I am laughing, but what If I am constantly surrounded by my favorite condiments and flavors? alike in which most of us are accustomed to being, this obviously will somewhat change the choices. So for context I will decide the condiments I would include if it was possible that all 10 of my fingers could hold the ability to bring the flavor party to any scenario. These would be my 5 choices given the same power was given to my other hand.

  1. Soy Sauce
  2. Teriyaki
  3. Mayo
  4. Sriracha
  5. Vinegar

This was a lot harder than I would have thought, the first hand was a breeze. 10 fingers though? With this capability? Hard to narrow it down. Not sure I am totally satisfied with these choices. There are so many options, it’s honestly one of the harder decisions any of us would have to make. Not to mention having this ability would come with quite the responsibility. Which condiments would you chose? And why? Also, try to give options for all 10 fingers and see what you come up with, do these condiments make the difference in your favorite meals? Are they readily available? Or are you just picking out of sheer convenience? These are tough questions to ask. Time to find out the answers.
