I’m a big time sucker for the final goodbye in baseball. I legitimately could have hated the player their entire career but when they do their final goodbye I’m all in for it. When Jeter and Pettitte went to the mound to go grab Rivera I was a mess. I hated the Yankees then, didn’t matter.
Ichrio was definitely no different.
One final goodbye for a legend.

Probably one of the most liked guys across the entire sport. Has me a puddle over here. Man was an absolute legend. Over 3,000 hits in the MLB and he didn’t get there until he was 27. Wild. Maybe the greatest hitter of all time.
Enjoy retirement big fella
